High Path Estate Phase 2
The next phase of one of south London's landmark estate regenerations.
High Path Phase 2 delivers 147 homes (138 apartments in two blocks plus nine houses on nearby Abbey Road) as the next step in the regeneration of the High Path Estate in South Wimbledon, where the masterplan will ultimately replace around 600 existing homes with some 2,000 new ones.
The phase is designed gas-free: a new energy centre serves the apartment blocks through heat interface units and underfloor heating, the houses run on individual air source heat pumps, and every dwelling has whole-house MVHR with heat-pump trim cooling against overheating. Rooftop PV is maximised in line with the London Plan.
AMF MEP is delivering the mechanical design package, including the block drainage design, alongside BS 9251 sprinkler protection, smoke ventilation and a BS 8629 evacuation alert system, with a new community centre at the building's ground floor.
What we're delivering
- Mechanical design package for Blocks 2A & 2B and Abbey Road houses
- Energy-centre-fed HIU and underfloor heating design
- MVHR with ASHP trim cooling (overheating mitigation)
- Drainage design, sprinkler and smoke-ventilation coordination
High Path Estate Phase 2 is currently in delivery. A full case study will follow on completion. In the meantime, see our completed projects.
