AMF MEP designs electrical systems across the full voltage spectrum, covering low voltage distribution within buildings through to medium and high voltage infrastructure. Every design is built to the latest standards in electrical safety and energy efficiency, engineered for resilience and able to flex and scale with the complex needs of modern infrastructure. Founded in 2014 and based in Redhill, Surrey, we deliver this work on residential and mixed-use developments across London and the UK.
Designs are produced in current building simulation and design software, including Trimble's ProDesign 400, so cable sizing, protection and discrimination are calculated and verifiable rather than based on rule-of-thumb allowances. The scope regularly extends beyond the building line: at 3 Thames Road we delivered the M&E design for 161 homes including site-wide external services, and at Orion Park we are designing the incoming site services including an 800 kVA package substation and standby generation.

Do you design HV and MV systems as well as LV?
Yes. We design across the full voltage range, covering LV distribution within buildings as well as MV and HV infrastructure, engineered for safe, reliable power distribution. At Orion Park this includes the incoming site services with an 800 kVA package substation and standby generation.
What software do you use for electrical design?
We work in current building simulation and design software, including Trimble's ProDesign 400. That means cable sizing, protection and discrimination are calculated outputs you can interrogate, and the design can flex and scale as the project develops.
Can you design the external and incoming site services, not only the building?
Yes. Site-wide external services and utilities design is part of our electrical scope. At 3 Thames Road we designed the site-wide external services for 161 homes across three blocks, and at Orion Park we are designing the incoming site services and utilities including the package substation.
