Senior Electrical Engineer
The role
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver the electrical design on our projects, most of them high-rise and residential schemes. AMF is a fully remote practice with no office; the only travel is for the site visits a project requires.
Delivering the electrical design on live residential projects, from calculations to coordinated layouts.
AMF MEP is a multi-disciplinary practice working across mechanical, electrical and public health engineering. Every project gets the same standard of technical work, the same compliance with industry standards and the same attention to delivery. We look for people motivated to work at that level.

- Produce the electrical design on your projects, from calculations and schematics to schedules and layouts.
- Brief and check the work of the Revit modellers producing your drawings.
- Coordinate the electrical design with the mechanical and public health engineers, architects and contractors.
- Respond to comments and queries from clients and contractors on your design.
- Attend design team meetings, and site for surveys and coordination when a project requires it.
Qualifications
- Strong residential experience.
- A thorough grounding in building services electrical design, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and other life safety systems.
- Proven experience in Stage 4/5 design and coordination.
- Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
Requirements
- A high level of proficiency in English is essential for this role, as the work depends on clear communication within the team and with our clients.
